Noelle M. Pierce, LCSW-C

My goal during our work together is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you to provide a welcoming, safe, non-judgmental space for you to process and heal. I truly strive for all of my clients to not only be aware, but also be so proud of all of their amazing strengths. I am passionate in supporting my clients’ to work on their goals that further support growth and overall happiness.

I currently work with individuals 5 years and older. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My specific therapeutic approach is an eclectic model utilizing approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), strength based, motivational interviewing, and play therapy approaches. When working with younger ages in therapy I believe an interactive engagement approach through play helps provide additional comfort, connection, and expression of feelings.

I have a special interest in working with clients’ experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, anger challenges, postpartum healing, changes in life, bullying, and clients who identify as LGBTQIA.

I hold a master’s degree in Social Work specialization in clinical practice with children and families from the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shippensburg University. I have served several years in Carroll and Frederick County as a social worker in the medical field and more recently in Washington County within the outpatient mental health setting.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland #21912.
