“Do you believe in ghosts, Ted?” “I do. But more importantly I think they need to believe in themselves!” – from Ted Lasso

My goal for our work together is to use creative, meaningful, and evidence-based strategies to help you find a more grounded place in your life. I typically incorporate elements of ACT, Emotionally-Focused/Attachment Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to walk with you throughout some of life’s most pressing & painful challenges. My experience is in providing identity affirming care to individuals & couples who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, & parenting struggles, and I see clients 16 years old and up.

I come to Key Elements Counseling with over 10 years of experience in the Human Services and Education fields. Originally from Alabama, I graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling and Educational Development in 2015 from UNC Greensboro. I’ve worked in various functional areas within higher education, the nonprofit world, and private practice. I’m a parent, spouse, Ted Lasso fan, & cheese enthusiast and, when I’m not seeing clients, you can find me chasing my kids, knitting, drinking hot tea, or listening to historical fiction audiobooks (and sometimes all of the above!).

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) #LC14907 and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) # 630344
